25th March 2007
left Loughborough for Batislava Airport! that's in Slovakia. flight was at er 5.30p.m. from east midlands airport...

we arrived at Batislava at 9.30pm (vienna time, which is an hour earlier from UK time). had some problems from customs, ran cleared everything for us though, so by the time it came to me, it was smooth-sailing, bwahahaha. for a while, ran and me thought we would be turned back and put on the plane back to UK. we were also wondering if we had problems going through because the guy have not heard of singapore before! haha
took the bus to vienna, reached around 11.30pm i think. from there, we had to take the train to our hostel...

we spent about an hour trying to look for our hostel!!! when we finally found it, we realized it was because we had exited from the wrong place of the station -_-" along the way, we saw...
trams! reminds me of san francisco!!!
also, a cute guy on those er skate skooters? who nearly fell off when shan suddenly yelled "excuse me!" to him. but he was really nice, and thanks to him, we managed to find our hostel. poor shan forgot to get his number though, hahaha
our hostel room! we stayed in wombats city hostel, it was brilliant! love it! a great start to our trip!

Day 2 in Vienna
woke up bright and early and met yz's friends, liling, xue ying and jenny!!!

we were really lucky. just so happened that an important minister was visiting, and so we managed to catch this parade!
